Residence as coexistence: The case of the meta-neighborhood.

  • Located on the historic Gladstonos Street in Nicosia, Cyprus, coeo is a private residential complex that embodies the harmonious coexistence of past and present. The project aims to introduce a new lifestyle proposal that deconstructs and enriches the idea of city life by creating a modern, quiet, and protected neighborhood emphasizing luxury and architectural design.

    • Respecting the historical significance of Gladstonos Street while introducing modern architectural elements

    • Developing a brand identity that reflects the coexistence of classic and contemporary urban culture

    • Creating a naming convention that ties individual residences to a cohesive brand narrative​

  • A home is about the relationship between space, people, and experience.

    The strongest residential brands don’t describe features, they simply evoke a way of living.

    • Selected the Latin term coeo, meaning "to come together" or "to co-exist," to encapsulate the project's essence

    • Named individual residences with Latin terms representing time and community (e.g., espice, adspice, prospice) to create a narrative bridge between past, present, and future

    • Collaborated with SOUL Creative Agency to develop a visual identity inspired by the Pedia River, symbolizing the dynamic interplay between private and communal spaces​

    • Developed the name “Coeo”, rooted in the idea of coexistence

    • Defined the conceptual direction behind the project identity

    • Aligned the naming with the architectural philosophy and spatial logic

    • Established a foundation for future communication and branding

    • Created a distinctive and concept-driven identity in a generic category

    • Provided a strong narrative base for the project’s communication
